Pouches for every cut
Steaks, mince and joints
Single steaks go in 160×250mm, 1kg of mince or six sausages in 200×300mm, joints to 1.5kg in 250×350mm and 2.5 to 3kg joints in 300×400mm. For joints, add the thickness to the width plus 10mm, and round up on width.

Bone-in cuts
A bone tip will go through 65 micron film. Wrap the bone end with a bone guard and use the standard pouch, or move to 130 micron, which is twice the thickness and stops most bone tips.
From £94.19 a box, ex VAT

Display packs for the shop
Gold-backed pouches with a clear front and euro hole for bacon and cured meats on a hook, parchment for a rustic look on sausages and pies. 200×275mm gold is the size most farm shops use for 250g of bacon.
From £50.88 a box, ex VAT

160×250mm, 200×300mm, 250×350mm and 300×400mm. Together they're £126 ex VAT, which clears free delivery, and they cover most of a counter.
What about bone-in cuts?
Use a bone guard with the 65 micron pouch, or switch to our 130 micron pouch for rib of beef and racks. The bone-in guide shows the technique.
How long does vacuum-packed meat last?
The FSA's rules for vacuum-packed chilled food set 10 days at 3 to 8°C, longer only below 3°C or with another control like curing. The shelf life guide has the detail.
Will they work with my machine?
