What is the minimum order quantity?
Pouches are sold by the box, 1,000 per box for most sizes and 500 or 400 for the larger formats. One box is the minimum. If you want to test before committing to a box, ask for a free sample pack.
How much is delivery and how fast is it?
Delivery is free on orders over £120 ex VAT and £7.90 + VAT below that. Order by 12pm Monday to Friday and it ships the same day for next working day delivery to UK mainland addresses.
Do you deliver outside the UK mainland?
Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland need a delivery quote first. Contact us with your postcode before ordering.
Can I get a trade account?
Regular buyers can apply for a trade account with Net 30 terms. Credit isn't available at the online checkout, so approved account orders go through our team on 01482 640606.
Will your pouches work in my machine?
They're made for chamber vacuum machines: Multivac, Henkelman, Orved, Turbovac, Boss, Henkovac, Supervac, MiniPack and any other chamber sealer that takes smooth PA/PE film. They will not work in a FoodSaver or any other edge sealer, which needs embossed bags.
What's the difference between 65, 80 and 130 micron?
Micron is the film thickness. 65 micron clear is the everyday pouch for boneless meat, fish, cheese and chilled product. 80 micron is our gold-backed retail pouch with a clear front and euro hanging hole. 130 micron is the heavy duty option for bone-in joints and anything sharp. We don't stock 90 or 150 micron online.
Are the pouches food safe?
Yes. They're a PA/PE co-extruded film that meets UK and EU food contact rules, made on a site with BRC Global Standard for Packaging AA grade. Food contact declarations are available on request for your technical team.
Can I use them for sous vide?
The 65 micron clear pouches are used for sous vide every day at typical water bath temperatures of 55 to 85°C. For cook-in-bag at or near boiling point, ask us about boilable grade film, which isn't part of the online range.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email orders@flexipol.co.uk within 48 hours with your order number and photos. We'll collect at no charge and replace or credit.
Can I return unopened boxes?
Unopened stock in its original condition can be returned within 14 days with prior authorisation. Opened boxes and bespoke orders can't be returned.
Do you make sizes or prints that aren't on the site?
Yes. We're the manufacturer, so bespoke sizes, gauges and printed pouches are quoted on request. Bespoke runs are made to order and non-returnable.
